STOP!! – ARE YOU LEGAL?
In 2007 45 workers died following a fall from height and 3,750 were seriously injured (HSE 2007). This figure increases every year.
Reducing this unnecessary injury toll is a priority; as a user of Powered Access equipment you will no doubt be aware of the legislation (LOLER, PUWER, HASWA and WAHR).
For companies using any type of Powered Access equipment, it is essential that all Operators are fully trained in all aspects of Safety.
Who needs Training?
It is the employers responsibility for maintaining safety standards that satisfy the criteria laid out in both EC and Health and Safety at Work Legislation. Training is required by ANY individual who is using a Powered Access machine.
They are most commonly used in the following industry sectors:
• Building and Maintenance
• Construction
• Cleaning
• Utilities
• Facilities
• Management
In fact many clients are asking suppliers for evidence of specific training credentials to show that all operators hold these before starting work.
With a total commitment we provide our customers with the highest possible standard of support and backup service that they could ask for.
An important element of this service is the series of Operating, Demonstrator and Technical training courses that we organise each year. These are specifically designed to meet the differing interests and requirements of our customers.
As Access Platform manufacturers continue to develop and launch new advanced technology, we introduce training to support these products and your interests in the future.
Our qualified instructors not only insure that your staff understand all the relevant regulations but that they also benefit from practical hands-on experience.
The courses cover all aspects from day to day-operational procedures, routine maintenance, workshop maintenance and refresher courses. Particular attention is placed on all relevant aspects of Health and Safety and current best practice.
All the courses cover the Theory and Practical sessions to acknowledged industry standards, which can be tailored to meet your company’s individual needs at suitable locations of your choice through out the UK or at our premises.
On completion of the course we will provide all successful candidates with the relevant licence, certificate and log book which state the candidates name and what equipment they are trained to operate. These licences are valid for 5 years.
